Shop Terms and Conditions

With respect to the online shopping portal at www.jin.sg ("Shop") operated by Jin Pte. Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Jin" or "we"), any customer who purchases goods or services ("Goods") agrees to the Shop's terms and conditions ("Shop T&Cs") as stated below.

ORDERS

To make an order ("Order") with us, please follow the steps as follows:

  1. View the Goods listed in our Shop and add the selected Goods to your cart.

  2. Go to your cart by clicking on the cart symbol at the top right hand corner of the web page.

  3. Enter a promotion code and insert any notes (if applicable)

  4. Select between "Standard Islandwide Delivery" or the "Pickup" option

  5. Click on the "Checkout" button and enter the required details.

  6. Follow the instructions and make your payment online.

  7. We will liaise with you on the date and time for pickup/delivery based on your requirements. We will usually require 1 week to prepare your items, for urgent orders, do contact us and we will try our best to accommodate your requests!

We reserve the right to cancel / modify / reject your Order at our sole discretion. For the avoidance of doubt, the right under this clause exists even after payment has been made (full refund will be provided in such circumstances). By using our Shop, you agree that we will not be liable for any loss or damages incurred or resulting from such cancellation / modification / rejection of your order for whatever reason.​

PAYMENTS

We accept online payment via major credit cards and Alipay.​

DELIVERY

We deliver to addresses in mainland Singapore for a flat fee of S$20. Please select the delivery option during checkout for island-wide delivery. We will follow up with you on the date and time for delivery based on your requirements. We will usually require 1 week to prepare your items, for urgent orders, do contact us and we will try our best to accommodate your requests!

 

We will send you a reminder one day before your scheduled delivery. Please inform us if you would like to reschedule your delivery at least 3 days in advance. Do take note that if we are unable to complete your first scheduled delivery due to reasons attributable to you, we will charge an additional S$15 (cash on delivery) for each subsequent attempt on delivery.

COLLECTION / PICKUP

We do not charge a fee for collection of the Goods on site if you have selected the "Pickup" option. We will follow up with you on the date and time for Pickup based on your requirements. We will usually require 1 week to prepare your items, for urgent orders, do contact us and we will try our best to accommodate your requests!

We will send you a reminder one day before your scheduled Pickup. Please inform us if you would like to reschedule your Pickup at least 3 days in advance.

REJECTION OF PURCHASED GOODS

You are entitled to reject the purchased Goods received in accordance with your order and obtain a refund when the purchased goods are not of satisfactory quality at the time of delivery. Due to the nature of certain products (e.g. fragile Goods made of porcelain), our team will endeavor to ensure that such purchased Goods are in good condition before delivering them to you. Please check your purchased Goods (especially fragile Goods) and ensure that they are of satisfactory quality at the point of delivery.

 

Please raise any concerns you have with us as soon as possible and in any case within 7 days upon delivery/collection. You are not entitled to any available remedies (including rejections, returns and exchanges) if you damaged the purchased Goods, misused it and caused the fault, or tried to repair it yourself or had someone else try to repair it and as a result, damaged the purchased Goods. All remedies are also not available if the fault was made known to you beforehand and you have accepted the faults before you purchase such goods.

 

Additionally, due to hygiene reasons, no refunds, exchanges or any other remedies will be available for purchased Goods that are by nature for personal use (teacups, tea sets) that have been used and are therefore not considered to be new and in their original condition.

PRECEDENCE

Should there be any conflict between this Shop T&Cs and any terms found in the subpages of the Shop (including terms in the product pages, checkout pages, amongst others), the Shop T&Cs shall take precedence.

 

VARIATIONS

We may revise the Shop T&Cs or make amendments to the Shop at any time without giving prior notice to you. You are expected to check this page from time to time to take notice of any changes we have made as they are binding on you. Some of the provisions contained in these Shop T&Cs may also be superseded by provisions or notices published elsewhere on our Website.

ACCURACY OF DESCRIPTION

We have made every effort to display and describe the colour and shape of the items on sale in the Wedding Shop as accurately as possible. Due to the inherent limitations of electronic displays, the colour and shape of the actual Goods may vary. Such variations should not be considered as defects.

SINGAPORE LAW

The Singapore courts will have exclusive jurisdiction over any claim arising from, or related to the Shop although we retain the right to bring proceedings against you in your country of residence or any other relevant country.  Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this Shop T&Cs or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore.

SEVERABILITY

In the event any provision, clause, sentence, phrase, or word hereof, or the application thereof in any circumstances, is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such invalidity or unenforceability shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remainder hereof, or of the application of any such provision, sentence, clause, phrase, or word in any other circumstances.

THIRD PARTY RIGHTS

A person who is not a party/customer has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap. 53B) to enforce any term of this Agreement.
